| AGE LEVEL: 10 and up. ART WORKSHOP ARTIST: Jonpaul Kirvan. SWIIS EDUCATION SUPPORT WORKER: Jenna Pattern. OVERVIEW In this Art Workshop the Children and Foster Cares will learn to use their mind's eye and imaginative abilities, important abilities for tapping into our creative spirit. They will explore different methods of expression through the Art Workshops, using Acrylic paint on Canvas. OBJECTIVES Students will: Learn to use Acrylic paints on Canvas with a kitchen sponge! Using a kitchen sponge instead of a paint brush helps to break down the first barrier of self doubt when starting a painting. Introduction talk about different Artist's, and how they can use this information to help their creative flow. Creating a relaxed creative environment, encouraging those who feel they have little Art abilities, teaching about the use of colour and producing gallery artwork. |

| THE AZDOCS I asked the Students to come up with a group name. After holding a group discussion they all chose one letter and came up with AZDOCS this helped create a team building exercise. Afterwards it came to me that the name also looks like A to Z DOCumentS ! |
