WORKING WITH SWIIS FOSTER CARE
SWIIS Foster Care is a national Independent Fostering Agency committed to achieving the best
possible outcomes for looked after children
SWIIS Foster Care was founded in 2000 and has regional offices in the West Midlands, North
West and the North East of England with a sister company SWIIS Foster Care (Scotland)

At SWIIS Foster Care we focus on the five key areas that were identified by young people as
making the real difference.  These are:

being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution & achieving
economic well-being

Our teams include experienced social workers, support workers, teachers and health advisers to
ensure that all aspects of children's needs are  addressed.

Please follow the links and icons on our site to find out more about all aspects of our service,

OVERVIEW

In this Art Workshop the Children and Foster Cares will learn to use their
mind's eye and imaginative abilities, important abilities for tapping into
our creative spirit.  They will explore different methods of expression
through the Art Workshops, using Acrylic paint on Canvas.

OBJECTIVES
Students will:
Learn to use Acrylic paints on Canvas with a kitchen sponge!
Using a kitchen sponge instead of a paint brush helps to break down the
first barrier of self doubt when starting a painting.

Introduction talk about  different Artist's, and how they can use this
information to help their creative flow.

Creating a relaxed creative environment, encouraging those who feel they
have little Art abilities, teaching about the use of colour and producing
gallery artwork.
THE  AZDOCS
I asked the Students to come up with a group name.
After holding a group discussion they all chose one
letter and came up with AZDOCS
this helped create a team building exercise.
Afterwards it came to me that the name also looks like
